More older images from the Misti series. Funny thing is I find myself staring at the surrounding imagery more than the model. No color retouching done here. This was shot using Fuji color 400. Polarizing filter. I'm not sure why the beach here looks so surreal like it does in When the Tide Goes Out. I remember it being overcast and a storm was coming.
I knew it would be great when I saw the thumbnail- Misti just gets more awesome with every shot- it is really interesting how the rosevine tattoo on her calf and ankle blend into the seaweed on this coastline- she almost seems to sprout, like the seagrass from the sandy tidepool; I love the effect of the polorized filter. May I ask where this shot was taken?? That beach is gorgeous, and out of the ordinary.

wow this is amazing and absorbing !
she almost looks like she isn't from this world...
like a high priestess or so ....
don't know the right words to subscribe it....
What I like most about this image is the way that the models tattoos remind me of seaweed sticking to the legs when she is just walking past some. Very haunting colours.
